Absolutely loved this apartment! Clean, we had every nececcary equipement and nothing more. Really comfortable for 2 people (it would be enough for 3 as well). The panorama was awesome, we had our breakfast at the balcony where we could the sea! Its really suitable for young ones as the shore is about 200 stairs. A strong car is also advised cause the slopes are a bit scary. The host Ivan was friendly, he told us everything we should know, even left a welcome drink and sweet in the fridge. We recommend this apartment to everyone.
Accommodation for 2-3 persons with its own kitchen, toilet, shower and a small terrace. In contrast to the photo count in the room with less light, natural light is provided only by the glass door to the terrace and a little entrance. electric stove with oven, double sink, refrigerator, hairdryer, air conditioning, on the other hand, no kettle or coffee maker. On the walls hangs, according to the signature, paintings of one of the owners. , uphill, you will find a small shop with everything you need, and two restaurants. There are more than a hundred steps to access the stony beautiful rocky beach with a pier, several large boulders and mainly relative calm, free sun beds and parasol. The sandy beach can be found after a few tens of meters to the left. There is no refreshment on the beaches, everything with you. English, German, but you can speak Czech
If you agree to climb 200 steps from the beach to the apartment, it is a very good choice. It is an ideal place for rest. We liked it very much.
Attentive, hospitable hosts, comfortable descent to the beach and to the sea. The apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. : inlove:
I love Croatia: chic nature, crystal sea water, hospitable people. My husband and I have visited many countries, traveled all over Croatia, but are ready to return here again and again. : smile:
This year due to Covid-19 we had to re-assess all our holiday plans and apartment in Marusici fulfilled all our expectations . We looked for 'isolated' accommodation outside hotels or houses with many apartments. - apartment is part of buildings allocated on the hill, i.e. you need to be prepared if you wanna to go somewhere you need to go either up or down the hill. The owner Ivan is nice and explained us everything we wanted to know. - the accommodation was exactly as described on the web page. Reading the commentaries from previous guests we brought with us only coffee maker, everything else was there. - equipment of two bedrooms on the first floor contain beds and wardrobe. They are older but their functionality is sufficient. Shower cabin might be dis-comfortable for triple plus size people - parking slot needs to be requested by booking and as it was recommended previously stronger car is required, slopes are crazy - rooms have air condition but we never used it - for our teenagers the wifi is must and available connectivity was good - outside the apartment was grill but it was not used and later on we found out that nobody from the hill is using the grill - smoke would bother all people living in houses above the grill - the view from terrace on see and island Brac was marvelous and each day we used to eat there. Going up the hill approx. 10 minutes was small grocery shop where it was possible to buy food to have extended continental breakfast: sweet apple / cherry cakes, salami, cheese, eggs, cereals, yogurt... In these months the face mask was MUST for entrance the shop. Early dinner / late lunch we had in one of the two restaurants next to the shop. Restaurant was mixture of local and Mediterranean kitchen, having balcony with 4 tables with the view on the sea, which again helped us to keep social distance (remaining tables were inside and in front of the restaurant). - regarding the beach - I would not call it beach - better description is the entrance place into the sea. All stairs down to the sea are private, i.e. you meet there only people who have been accommodated within buildings on the hill. Each owner of building has separate private place by the sea and available equipment (umbrellas, camp-beds). The entrance into the sea is typical for Croatia - rocks and stones, do not expect sand. I would not recommend it for families with small children, it is more convenient for people who can swim as deep water is after two - three meters from the strand. Water is colder compared to Greek islands, but very clean - from the apartment to the sea you have to pass 200 stairs down and logically back to apartment 200 stairs up. We have been aware of that and welcomed this fact as an option for cardio, but honestly also after one week I was not able to run up without making breaks ;) - We made only one trip during our stay - into Dubrovnik, approx. 2.5 hours by car. Middle and South Dalmacia were in July 2020 almost empty. By our visit on Dubrovnik's walls we were 50 people max. And the town is really amazing. Vacation in Marusici was great. It was not typical style of vacation we use to have but on the other hand we had a stay by the sea with blue clean water, limited number of people around us and for reasonable price.
